flare-engine software package provides game engine for single-player 2D action role-playing games, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flare-engine
flare-engine is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flare-engine package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flare-engine *
You will get with flare-engine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
